Artist Statement: Lyn Janz

From the early 1970's Lyn Janz, a Chicago suburban artist, has heartily enjoyed expressing her personal artistic ideas and talents for the enjoyment of others.

It gives her no more joy than to do this. 

Her visions revolve simply and passionately around things she loves.

So it is of no wonder that many of her works involve a natural or animal theme and personal silhouette art.

Mediums used are oils, acrylic, watercolors, charcoal and pen and ink. 

Lyn's works have been featured in many local art and craft shows; and she has 

designed & painted many local Community Theatrical sets for over 20 years.
