Adult Art

Start the New Year out by getting creative! At the Arts in Bartlett Center for the Arts, 215 S. Main

Tuesday, Feb. 20 , Artist Gathering, 7-9 pm, Arts in Bartlett Community Room, 215 S. Main

All visual artists are welcome to attend this free networking, idea sharing event the 3rd Tuesday of each month. At this month’s Artist’s Gathering  they will experiment with Derwent Inktense Pencils. Derwent Inktense pencils can be used dry but mix them with water and WOW! the color turns into vibrant ink. Once it’s dry the color is fixed and you can work over the top of it, and it’s permanent (you can even use them on silk or cotton)! If you have Inktense pencils, bring them. Also, bring some mixed media or watercolor paper, maybe an adult coloring book, some smallish brushes and a water dish. And Show and Tell - Got a new project that you are working on and want to show it off? Want some feedback? Bring it on (we are gentle and helpful / promise)..
