The 2015 Arts Festival marks the 13th year that Arts in Bartlett, the local arts council in a thriving Illinois community 35 miles northwest of Chicago, has presented Bartlett’s only juried fine arts and crafts show. Arts in Bartlett, a dynamic all-volunteer 501(c) 3 organization, prides itself on presenting high-quality, yet affordable fine arts and fine crafts in this highly anticipated free annual event.
The Arts Festival is in a beautiful shaded park just north of quaint downtown Bartlett. Walkways, benches, gazebo and a playground make this a popular destination for local residents Our famous artist breakfast will be served both mornings in the Log Cabin in Bartlett Park and will serve as an artist lounge throughout the days. Food vendors will be in the park and several restaurants are two blocks away in downtown Bartlett.
Entertainment: Music and dance groups, drama and other acts will continually offer entertainment on the Main Stage and in the World Tent.
Young Art Appreciators (YAA!): A special "kids only" tent for children shoppers who can purchase art priced at $1, $5 and $10. Art will be labeled with artist name and booth number so parents can take them to meet the artist and learn about their techniques. Artists accepted in the show are asked to donate a small piece or two and proceeds will go toward Arts in Bartlett programs for children.
Children’s Art Activities: Led by the Color My World Teaching Artist in Arts in Bartlett’s Center for the Arts, children’s art activities will make the Arts Festival a family event.
