 Arts Center exhibit for February/March/April "On a Grand Scale"

The theme is “On a Grand Scale” and the gallery is full of works that are large in scale or impact in oil, acrylic, mosaic, and mixed media. Artists include Marianne Andersen, Valerie Cocks, Christie Gabriel, Michelle Lusader, and Lambert Lucietto from Bartlett;  Kate Burlette and Jade Morem from Streamwood;  Greta Pfeifer from Hanover Park; Joanne Barsanti from Roselle, Linda Kay and Cynthia Meier from Elgin, Kathy Manning from West Chicago; Barbara Lipkin and June Padovani from Naperville, and William Worcester from Aurora. Gallery hours are 10 to 5 Tues/Thurs/Sat. and noon to 6 on Friday

Join us for an exquisite night of jazz music and the spoken word featuring the soulful sounds of saxophonist Audley Reid, who has performed with many musical greats such as Buddy Guy and Phil Perry. Introspective author Reggie Legend will host the evening. He has penned more than 16,000 poems and haikus and will be signing copies of his latest book. Purchase your tickets in advance on the Ticket Page. $10 per person or two for $15. $5 more at the door. Bartlett Village Hall Exhibits, 228 S. Main, 2nd Floor Gallery, ends March 2

Don’t miss seeing the amazing works of Promila Kumar at the Bartlett Village gallery on the 2nd Floor, 228 S. Main. She earned a BFA with honors from one of India’s top art schools and opened a small gallery in India to share her love of vibrantly colored art at a reasonable price. Since she moved to the United States, she has continued to bring her passion to paintings that bring joy to homes and businesses. The exhibit will be in the Village Gallery until March 2.  

Annual Member Exhibit at Village Hall Gallery, 228 S. Main, March/April 2018 

All members whose 2018 dues are current are invited to be part of our annual Members Show in Village Hall Gallery during March and April. All media are welcome, however be aware that the village gallery does not have a locked case.  


Next session of Drama Kids starts Feb. 20 in the Community Room

Arts in Bartlett offers another 8 week session of Drama Kids  for 1st-5th graders on Tuesdays Feb 20-April 17 from 6 to 7 p.m. No class on March 28.  Kids have tons of fun while developing important confidence-building skills through improvisations, character analysis, theater games, creative movements and more. Cost is $99 for Arts in Bartlett family members and $109 for nonmembers. Registration is open online at or email .

Arts in Bartlett’s Community Room and Galleries are available for anyone to rent. Rates are $15 an hour for members and $30 for nonmembers, except for corporate and sustaining members who can have the space free once in a calendar year. Accommodates 40-50 people.
